Street performer, dancer, and Memphis native, L’il Buck was practicing moves with other dancers at a studio where the ballet instuctor of local ballet company, New Ballet Ensemble, saw him doing turns and offered him a scholarship. Since accepting to study ballet at the school, Li’l Buck has become an ambassador for the evolving new dance, performing a “Jook’d up version” of Tchaikovsky’s, Swan Lake, toured China with Yo-Yo Ma, was featured in a New York Times article, and has even taught Meryl Streep & Stephen Colbert some moves.

We have been on a LONG HIATUS because the Jojo of mikojojo apparel has been busy in his other life performing in the play HOTEL ON THE CORNER OF BITTER & SWEET in Seattle.

Needless to say it was a lot of fun and very rewarding performing to sold out audiences for the last 3 months but we miss making stuff, our customers & all of the markets.
ALSO: the Miko of mikojojo apparel is has been busy taking care of herself cause we are having our first child. It’s gonna’ be a boy. YAY!
She has been wearing her BEBEMAMA TEE, which is now quite snug.
BUT…
WE ARE BACK.
And we will be back at the good ol’FREMONT SUNDAY MARKET starting November 25th, 2012 just in time for your Holiday Shopping. DON”T WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE PEOPLE!
In addition to Fremont we are planning other upcoming events. On December 22nd, 2012 we will again be part of the annual BIZZARE BAZAAR that takes place at the Erickson Theatre on Capitol Hill. It’s a one day event where local Seattle artists bring unique items that’ll make the perfect gifts for you or your loved ones.
